The psoas is one of the most chronically tense muscles for most everyone. Taking time to stretch and release it can help improve your posture and strengthen your ability to cope with fear and stress. A tight psoas can be a sign that your body is holding on to fear and releasing this tension can help liberate you from negative or fearful holding patterns. Learning to relax this muscle can also help you feel physically, emotionally and mentally better. In this lesson plan, we will encourage a deep mind and body release, healing as we stretch, and relaxing while we restore.
